Goodbye Coding, Hello Visual Journeys
ONEcount, the audience management, identity resolution, and data activation platform, today announced the release of the ONEcount Journey Builder, a visual drag-and-drop tool that enables media publishers to design and deploy sophisticated multi-step audience automation campaigns without technical expertise.
Built for the Way Publishers Work
The Journey Builder introduces a Segment→Target workflow that mirrors the way publishers naturally think about audience engagement. Users define a Segment — a precise audience slice based on demographics, behavioral signals, or subscription status — and then apply a Target action such as a pop-up, email campaign, form, or SMS message. The outcome of each Target automatically generates a new Segment, allowing publishers to chain together complex, conditional journeys with no coding required.
“Publishers have always known who they want to reach and what they want to say — they just needed a tool that works the same way they think,” said the ONEcount development team. “The Journey Builder turns a segment-and-target strategy into something you can see, drag around a canvas, and deploy in the same afternoon.”
What previously required complicated queries, saves, import/exports, can now be assembled visually in minutes.
Key Features:
✅ Visual canvas with drag-and-drop Segment and Target nodes, connected by live relationship lines
✅ Five Target action types: Email Campaign, Pop-up, Form. Banner Target and Redirect
✅ Eight behavioral output triggers including Clicked, Opened, Abandoned, Completed, Submitted, Converted, Bounced, and Unsubscribed
✅ Segment filtering by demographics, behavioral signals, subscription status, and custom SQL-like expressions
✅ Estimated audience size display per segment for real-time reach awareness
✅ Auto-generated output segments that capture the audience resulting from each target action
✅ Infinite canvas with zoom, pan, and multi-branch journey support
Competing on Simplicity
The Journey Builder is the latest in a series of product investments designed to make ONEcount the most accessible enterprise audience platform in the market. Combined with ONEcount’s recently launched Natural Language Query interface for list building, publishers now have a suite of no-code tools that put the full power of the platform within reach of editorial, marketing, and circulation teams — not just IT.
The platform’s Segment→Target architecture is particularly well suited to the subscription renewal and audience development workflows common in b2b and association media, where precise audience segmentation and timely, personalized outreach are critical to retention.
