ONEcount Release Notes for 9/21/2020

Good morning ONEcount Customers, Fans and Friends!

In honor of the approaching election, the team here at ONEcount has introduced new features that will provide greater insight into your audience.

First up, our brilliant Big Data team has coupled machine learning with our segmentation tools to create fully-automated audience segments. If you go into the segment manager, you will see at the top of the list User Defined Segments, which are those created by you and your team. Below that you will see a list of automated segments, which ONEcount’s machine-learning technology have developed based on your audience traffic and data. These segments are refreshed daily, so if you see one you like, you’ll need to click on the green button next to the segment and save it. You can also choose whether to make the segment static (“it is what it is now”) or dynamic, in which case it will continue to add people to the segment as they align with its behavior.

Currently the system is using behavior plus a user’s state and country (if known) in development the segments. Over the next two weeks we will be enhancing the system to include more of your demographic questions in the calculations.

These automated segments can be used in analytics, or for targeting users both on- and off-site.

Next, we have completely re-vamped everything under the Analytics tab. Leveraging the new designs introduced in our Form Analytics a few weeks ago, our team has created new graphs for all of our analytics displays.

Under the analytics tab, check out web, banner, newsletter and financial analytics to see a new selection of charts and graphs designed to deepen your understanding of your audience. In the web analytics, take a look at our new segment analytics, which break down traffic to your site based on the different segments you have defined for your audience. My personal favorite is the bubble chart (below) that breaks down content consumption by segment:

We plan on augmenting these new analytics screens with even more charts in the next two weeks, so stay tuned!

As always, if you have any questions about the new release or experience any problems, please contact engineering@one-count.com, or open a ticket with the help desk and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

Have a great week!
